Located in Ville-Marie, Montreal, this residence is the product of the restauration of the facade of a building that had burned and been left abandoned for several years. Since the building had been declared a total loss, only the heritage facade was preserved. A complete restauration of the facade was planned and a new construction was designed behind the facade, thus allowing a family to live in Mile End’s historic district.
