Located in Pierrefonds West, Montreal, this project’s master plan has set the stage for the planning philosophy at Luc Denis Architecte. It regroups all the basic principles that still affect our present-day projects. Taken on in 1992 for Groupe Prével, this project was ahead of its time in that it proposed different concepts of eco-responsibility, mainly related to the reduction of the ecological footprint and the protection of existing landings and vegetation. In terms of urban design, there was a strong desire to control the overall look of the neighbourhood through specific architectural styles and materials. Also, LDA’s unique interior planning principles can be seen in the project’s architecture: open living spaces without partitions that connect to the exterior.

In 1994, following the completion of the first units and infrastructure, the project received the prestigious Domus prize for excellence in architectural design in the category single-family projects of over 21 units.
